The Dress

The ‘Dragonfly’ wedding dress by Sarah Joseph Couture has a delicate French lace bodice with a sweetheart neckline, cinched waistline and a floaty silk georgette skirt. There are 2 layers of silk underneath and then a shear layer of georgette over the top. The silk layers are cut straight at floor length and the georgette layer has an approximate 1m train at the back, which can be bustled.
The corset is very supportive and I didn't feel worried it would move or drop all night.
The dress was made to a standard size 10, however I had it taken in slightly. The dress has only been worn once and it is in absolutely immaculate condition, I had it dry cleaned immediately after the wedding (for $520!) and it has been preserved in acid free tissue paper and a dress box since.

I am 164cm tall and I wore a 8cm heel on the day.
MEASUREMENTS:
Front: Pinch of the sweetheart to the bottom of the dress (128cm)
Front: Waist to the bottom of the dress (110cm)
Back: Top of the dress to the end of the train (162cm)
Bust: 83cm
Waist: 74cm

Alterations

As mentioned above, I had the dress taken in at the sides and taken up. I also had the beaded belt stitched on so it didn't move around.
