The Dress

This is a Riki Dalal Haute Couture gown, so is a one of a kind custom design which was crafted in Israel by Riki Dalal before being shipped here to Australia.

The dress has very intricate detail throughout the bodice and skirt which creates a level of elegant sophistication and feminine lines.

It is essentially a two-piece, a lace body suit & adjoining skirt that gives the illusion of a full-length gown, but the flexibility to change up the skirt creating a completely different look for the reception.

The gown has an assortment of various fabrics ranging from silk crepes to fine lace details and features embroidered pearls.

I put a strong focus on the fit as I’m a natural size 8E cup and wanted to have the support without the need of a bra, so the gown has built in cups.

Approximate measurements…

Skirt length: (waist to floor with shoes): 109cm. To give you an idea, I’m approx. 160cm and wore 12cm heels. Waist: 61cm Hip: 89cm Bust: Natural Australian size 8E cup

One of the photos also shows the detachable train I had added to the gown. This was dry-cleaned, however, did retain some minor colour marks, so will offer free of charge with the purchase of this dress. Alternatively, you could take the design to a seamstress and have an identical copy made.

To change up the look, I also had a second skirt made through another Israel designer & wore this for the reception. This is the skirt seen in the last image. It has been beautifully hand gathered from 9 meters of fine chiffon and has a hidden centre back zipper.

I had the skirt custom made with a split up one side. The fabric is free flowing so creates beautiful movement when walking and allowed me to comfortably dance the night away!

It is lined with a silky linen that feels amazing on the body, perfect for when you want to relax comfortably into the evening.

Included with the sale of this dress is a 1 layer 3m long Cathedral Veil. It is simple and elegant and suits all wedding dresses. It is white to match the dress and comes with a clip so it can easily be placed in your hair. This was purchased separately to the dress, but happy to include with the purchase.
