The Dress

This beautiful gown was a couture creation from Moira Hughes, featuring Italian silk, tulle, and French lace. Moira Hughes' gowns are sculpted from within using Parisienne corsetry, allowing the simple beauty of the fabrics to flow on the outside.

I wore this romantic gown for a wedding in the Hunter Valley and it felt like a second skin - the fabric was light and soft and allowed me to be my best self on the day. For the bride who doesn't want to choose between a slim fitting and full dress, this gown offers both - the silk fabric hugs the body, while the tulle provides a soft full overlay to the skirt.

I was a standard size 8 when I wore this gown - being couture it was made to measure. I am 165cm tall and wore 8cm heels on the day.

This gown is in excellent condition and has been professionally dry cleaned. There is a tiny tear in the tulle overlay at the bottom of the dress which is not visible when looking at the dress.
