The Dress

The Avril dress is absolutely stunning and very elegant. This was my dream dress and I would not have felt as beautiful as I did on the day without it.

Bought brand new and made by Rue De Seine in New Market, and altered by their recommended seamstress 'Megs' who did an incredible job.

The dress was unbelievably comfortable, I could do anything I wanted in it. It was very easy to dance and sit down in, I didn't even think about the way it felt the entire day/night as it was beautiful to wear.

The slip itself was stunning. I had quite a few comments that it itself could be worn as a beautiful dress.

The dress is currently with the dry cleaner, due back early April.

I am based in Auckland (Silverdale) and am happy to facilitate try-ons, though luckily this style of dress is not one that needs to fit perfectly. If you are within a few cm of my measurements then it will be perfect.

Very sad to see this beauty go, but so excited for someone to love it as much as I have, and get so much enjoyment and beautiful memories with it!

Alterations

The dress and slip were initially made as a size 12, and then taken down entirely to a size 10.

It also has had cups sewn into the slip, and a wrist loop which made it very easy to dance in.
