The Dress

A classic princess tulle design with full train, wide lace hemline ruched bodice and beaded waistband.

Used Once ronald joyce wedding dress size 12 Omette Ivory. I purchased this dress approximately a year ago and it then hung in the bridal shop until September time 2018 when I collected it for fittings /alterations.

I felt so good wearing this dress. I felt like a princess! It flatters the waistline with beautiful waist detail to draw the eye, inbuilt corset to pull you in and neckline /shoulders sit beautifully to give an attractive v shape.

Some alterations were made to the bodice and length of the dress.... I had cups sewn in as I’m only a a/b cup. It has been altered to now fit a petite size 10 and this included the shoulders/waist taken in from the original size 12.

I am 5’2 (and wore 3 inch heels on the day) so this dress is suitable for a petite lady, size 10 or 12 ( let back out to fit original size 12 .)

It was dry cleaned the week after my wedding. It is clean, fresh and ready to be worn again. Sad to see this go but too big for me to store!!

I also have the three hoop tier underskirt that I wore with it. The dress has a bustle fit to it so you can ruche it up later on for dancing!

It will come in the original bag and I also have the receipt to show it was dry cleaned quickly after my wedding in autumn last year.

Alterations

Professional alterations include...the waist has been pulled in, shoulder straps shortened, cups added and hem taken up (I’m 5’2 and wore 3inch heels, plus a three hoop underskirt(I can include this!)
