The Dress

This dress was a dream to wear. The material is a bonded Georgette that helps you feel secure (other dresses I tried always felt too thin). It was classical with a modern twist and I was able to wear it classically with cathedral veil and pearls for ceremony, then remove the veil and match with chunky gold earrings for the reception. The dress comes with a certificate of dry cleaning from Syndals in Armadale. It came up beautifully with minor bubbling at the foot of the dress which can't be seen (and if you had taken up would no longer be there).

Alterations

Upon selecting my dress I was measured at:

Bust- 86cm
Waist- 67.5cm
Hip- 103

The dress is created in three sections and I ordered a size 2 bust, 3 waist and 4 hip. This was then altered for my body with alterations (from One Day Bridal) in at the bust and hip mainly. I'm more of a 10 top 12 bottom (big bum / hips)

I was hoping to get a second hand dress my self but being tall everyone had taken theirs up.
What this does mean is there's plenty of length to have adjusted to you.
