The Dress

I have never seen a dress more stunning than this one, for me it was love at first sight!

The dress is part of the Sposa 2016 collection by London designer David Fielden, it is simply luxurious in silk backed crepe with a lace and organza flower detail back. The dress is incredibly comfortable, somehow the fabric is able to both flow freely yet also gently hug your figure. I wore the dress in warm weather (around 28 degrees Celsius ) and it kept me cool all day, perfect for a summer wedding.

The dress was made to measure in the designer’s flagship store in London. At the time of the wedding I was a skinny UK size 10, so the dress would suit a skinny UK size 10 or a size 8. Some small adjustments for fit were made by the recommended seamstress, as would be expected. I am a D cup and didn’t need any additional support under the dress. I am 165cm tall and on the day wore 4 inch heels.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned in London by the cleaners recommended by Carina Baverstock. It is in excellent condition without any staining and just some minor signs of use at the bottom of the train which is to be expected.

The dress comes packaged in a beautiful wedding dress storage box.
