The Dress
I wore it to the NYC City Clerk’s Office in January 2018!
(In spite of the guidance, I'm including two pics from the BHLDN website because I think they illustrate the fit and feel of the dress a bit better than my pics from trying it on at home and in front of the corny backdrop at city hall.)
Fit: I’m 5’10 and 140lbs. I sized up to a 10 because an 8 was short on me and a bit snug in the hips. The bodice/skirt is fully lined, but the sleeves are not, which makes them feel pretty light.
Feel: It was January, so I wore it with little white boots and felt super glam. It would be fabulous with bare legs and sandals in the summer, too. Swishing the sleeves around is very satisfying, and it photographs incredibly well at night. Sparkles for days.
