The Dress

Designer description: Sexy crepe mermaid wedding dress with nude details. Sheer illusion tulle bodice with rebrodé lace appliqués. Crepe mermaid skirt with rebrodé lace appliqués. Narrow crepe belt.

My description: I absolutely loved this dress! It felt light and comfortable, yet also beautiful and incredibly flattering. The silk crepe material is phenomenal. The wedding was in the fall of 2018 (haven't even received the professional photographs back yet), then the dress was immediately dry cleaned at a green dry cleaner facility and stored in the original designer dress bag, ready for the next bride to enjoy. There is some very slight discoloration at the very tip of the hem on the under side of the dress, and of course if you're planning to hem the dress the discoloration will be removed. The dress will be shipped in the original Pronovias dress bag.

Also included, if desired, is a fingertip-length Jennifer Leigh couture veil that I ended up deciding against wearing. The veil features scattered lace appliques throughout the fabric and matches the dress. Please let me know if you would like the veil included.

Alterations

The dress was altered to fit measurements: 34" bust, 28" waist, 36.5" hips, and a height of 5'8". For reference, I am 132 lb, 5'8" (I wore flat slippers), and 34B, and the dress has a little stretch. I usually wear a US size 4 or 6. Cups were professionally sewn in (to approximately a size C), the train was shortened to a sweep train (see pictures), and a single, small pick-up bustle was added.
