The Dress

This is an absolutely amazing dress (Gretchen by Maggie Sottero - now discontinued)in vintage mist with ivory lace over the top. The two layers of lace and detail are beautiful, as is the button back - it's a very expensive looking dress with a beautiful flowing train. It originally cost over £1500 but it's just too fancy for our low-key wedding. I bought this as a sample - it had been worn briefly for a photo shoot but not for a full day/wedding and I have only tried it on for a few minutes. It's a UK14, although the label is in US sizing and says 12 and it hasn't been altered. It has a structured bodice so you don't have to wear a bra. The belt is missing, but most bridal belts would suit it.

The manufacturer's size chart states this is:

Bust: 39 inches, Waist: 31 inches, Hips: 40 inches.

I'm 5ft 8" and there's plenty of length in it so it could easily be adjusted to fit someone shorter(and could probably fit taller too).

Ive noticed there is a bit of loose lace at the bottom (the thread holding it in place has come loose so it just needs re-fixing) and a few tiny beads have fallen off the bodice, plus one of the diamanté style crystals is missing from its mount but these could easily be repaired/replaced and I didn't notice them at all until I scrutinised the condition to list it.

The dress will come in a box without hanger/bag as this is how I purchased them.
