The Dress

I wore the Pronovias Drens dress for my wedding in June, and it was an absolute dream! The fit on this dress is very flattering, and would suit any body type. It was extremely comfortable to wear all day, and I had no issues at all for time I wore it - sitting, first dances and photos included! The dress has a stunning train, that can be bustled in two ways - a French bustle and an Over Bustle, both very easy to do. If you don't want to bustle it, you can also just hold up the train, which is what I ended up doing for the dancing bit, and it gave me some beautiful layers, especially while twirling during my first dances. I also changed into a second outfit for the latter half of the night, so there are no damages, stains or tears on the dress - it is in like-new condition.

The feminine silhouette takes center stage in this dress, with its beautiful mermaid train skirt fitted to the body, in soft satin with floral appliqués in thread embroidery and gemstones. The waist leads up to a sweetheart neckline bodice in the same fabric and with floral appliqués. The dress is timeless - it's a classic fit that will stand out, without overcompensating. Because the dress has beadwork, I went with a plain, cathedral veil. I would highly recommend this dress, as it truly is elegant yet modern, and the fit creates a sexy, hourglass silhouette.

Alterations

I had the back lowered 2 inches during alterations, as well as added removable cups to the bust area - I am 32B bust.
