The Dress

The Rue de Seine Moon dress is a joy to wear and I'd love another bride to have the chance to enjoy this dress and feel as special as I did in it. The dress is all over lace with an ivory lining and is beautifully made - this is one of the reasons why I've decided to sell it, as a dress with this dressmaking skill deserves to be admired and enjoyed rather than languishing in a wardrobe. The all over lace extends into a train, with a wrist loop making the train very manageable for the reception and dancing. The bodice has soft boning which makes it supportive to wear without a bra. It's an excellent style for someone who wants to look like a bride without feeling overdone, and the boho style is perfect for a relaxed outdoor wedding.

The dress is a size 12, I had professional dressmaking alterations including minor taking in through the waist and hips. The dress has been drycleaned and is in very good condition.

The Moon dress is fully boned through the bodice, with no structure visible on the outside shell. This gown gives the security of structure with a soft, almost draped aesthetic. The gown has a flattering, elongating silhouette with a low back, low neckline with an over the bust frill and dramatic back train.
