The Dress
This dress is a Maggies Sottero, Emily from the 2011 Collection. The dress is a beautiful champagne color, which appears slightly differently in varying lights, as you will see in the photos. The crystal embellishments really pop against the dress color but yet it is not too dark. The crystals are decorated in lines that accent the rousing and folds of the dress in both the front and back sides. The body of this Maggie is form fitting until below the hips and then is a wide bottom, for more drama. When not bustled the train is about 4 feet behind. The corset back allows for give so can fit many body types/sizes. This also makes the dress more comfortable and less necessary for alterations to be done up top. The only alterations made were hemming the bottom by about 2 inches. Nothing was done to alter the width or top of the dress. Cups has also been inserted in the chest for support and lift. They are secured with 3 stitches easily so easily removable.
