The Dress
A beautiful, one-off white lace wedding dress in a tea dress style. Custom-made in 2016 in Herefordshire.
The exquisite lace overlay (which was expensive and top quality), was also hand sewn over parts of the skirt to give a stunning effect.
I am 5'5" and the dress came to 3/4 of the way down my calves when wearing heels.
The dress also features a sash to waist with a pre-tied bow to the back and a clasp fastening on the sash.
Zip fastening to the back.
I would estimate that I was a size 22-24 when I wore this dress, but here are the exact measurements:
Bust: 48"
Waist: 44"
Hips: 54"
Across shoulder: 15"
Sleeve length: 18"
Width at top of arm: 16"
Length from neck fastening to bottom: 49"
Length from top of zip to bottom: 38"
Dressmaker's note: The dress was made for these measurements, and a slight 'ease' was allowed for.
