Rue De Seine - Avril Gown

My beautiful boho wedding dress is up for sale! Originally I was going to get this amazing dress framed and hang it up in my house so I can look at it everyday, but it is time to pass this beauty onto someone else so they too can feel amazing!

I wore this gown for around 8 hours on my magical day and felt like an absolute Bohemian Goddess!

This dress is the Avril Gown by New Zealand designer Rue De Seine.
The Avril Gown is not your traditional wedding dress. It is inspired by brave and daring women ready to make a bold statement!

Made from beautiful Cornelli lace, with placements designed to flatter your figure from all angles
(which is exactly what you want on your wedding day!). The Avril Gown has cut out details on the train and sleeves, as well as a gorgeous low back, full skirt and long train.

Both the gown and off white slip has been professionally altered by Megs Tailoring and also professionally Dry-cleaned from Regal Dry Cleaners. Rue De Seine recommended both companies and their services were amazing. The dress has come up beautifully. The dry cleaners made one small repair to the back of the dress where it the mesh had teared a little on the shoulder from too much dancing! This is not noticeable at all and has been completely fixed.

ALTERATIONS:

I had around $1000 worth of alterations made to the Avril Gown by the amazing Megs Tailoring in Newmarket, Auckland- http://megstailoring.co.nz/

- Sleeves: The sleeves were shortened in a beautiful way they sat nicely on my hand as the originally were too long.

- Back: The back was altered to assentuate and give more shape to my back/lower back. It hugged it nicely so there was no gaping.

- Cups added on slip: I had bra cups sewn onto the inner off white slip so no strapless bra was needed on my wedding day. It also gave me bust more shape and support!
