The Dress

This is an absolutely stunning gown. It's definitely one that makes people gasp when you walk in. And I love so much that it has pockets! I has an incredibly elegant, vintage look.

I am 5'4 (and 3/4)" and wore 4" heels when it was fitted to me. I ended up wearing 3" heels at the wedding and that worked perfectly, too. I never felt like I was going to trip because the dress pushes out in front of you as you walk, yet there is plenty of material if you're a little taller or want a taller heel. It has a very drape-y bottom so your shoes are hidden.
Wedding gowns are made on the larger side so I also had this dress taken in (all done professionally at the store). My measurements are about 33" 26" 34". I was given the option to have a layer of the netting removed underneath to take away the added poof and I took that option. It takes the dress more from Cinderella to Sleeping Beauty.
The alterations were pricey coming to a total of $400 and if you're my size, you have to have the alterations (wedding dresses are larger than regular dresses) so it's a really nice savings if you happen to be around my size! The total with the alterations was 2,258.
