The Dress

Mariana Hardwick - Iris
Purchased in 2011 from Mariana Hardwick Bridal Store, Brunswick.

I’m sure Iris and I were made for each other :)
I stumbled across this breathtaking dress in a bridal magazine and I instantly knew this was the one.
I flew to Melbourne to try it on, the one and only dress I tried on - and as simple as that I had found my dream dress!

The Iris wedding gown is a classic ivory one-shoulder A-line dress with silk petal detailing on the shoulder. The bodice is fully boned and has B cups built in to the dress. There is a small train that can be hooked up at the back when not needed. The dress is made from beautiful silk georgette material that drapes down in to a soft frill skirt. The back features a concealed zip with 14 button closure (an extra I opted for).

The dress is clean, but would benefit from a dry clean. Keeping this in mind when priced.
I’ve been in two minds whether to sell...but it just seems too big of a waste not to let Iris have her moment again :)

I have a beautiful veil that I would be happy to include that I also purchased from Mariana Hardwick and accessories that I’m willing to sell. I decided that the bracelet that the model was wearing would also look great - and it really did, many compliments!

The dress was altered slightly around bust are, as it was a little big.
