I am selling this beautiful justin alexander lace fishtail gown as brand new, unaltered and unworn (all labels still very much in tact). It has only been tried on a handful of times and it is now way too big for me to even model it! (possibly the effects of having to cancel ones wedding and start over in life!)
I purchased this gown in Truly Gorgeous which is situated in the west sussex town of Chichester back in summer 2009. I paid just over £1100 for the dress and bolero. It was due to be worn by myself on september 18th 2010 but it never had the chance to shine! I hope that it will bring much joy to a new bride to be.
The gown is a light ivory in colour and consists of a base (possibly satin), lace overlay and matching lace bolero. The delicate lace overlay is adorned with glass beads, sequins and pearls and has a very vintage feel to it.
At the rear of the gown, a sturdy zipper is hidden by a row of beautifully beaded buttons which are held in place by elasticated loops. The loops ensure that the fastening disappears and all that is visible are the decorative buttons.
Inside the gown, you will find it is fully boned with cups and a bra-style fastening (hook and eye). The straps that fasten around your back really make this dress feel secure.
