The Dress

Looking for a new bride for my gorgeous silk back crepe David Fielden wedding dress.

After months of searching,fighting my way through masses of tulle and trying on nearly 50 dresses I found this gorgeous, contemporary yet romantic style. I felt absolutely amazing in it on my wedding day and my hubby loved it! I had so many compliments, and people asking if I had it specially made.

The dress is a size 10 but their sizes are definately small- I buy a size 8 in most places.

Alterations- straps / top half was a little too long and had been shortened, I had cups tacked in to get round the backless situation (these can be easily removed), back waist tapered slightly to ensure this didn't gape. The amendments were all very minor.

I am 55' and worn 110mm heels. The front legnth has been altered accordingly- i would say it has a couple of extra cms in it if you are slightly taller?

Dress was worn only for 8 hours and has been professionally cleaned.

Can recommend an amazing tailor in London if any alterations are needed.

I live in Canary Wharf and can do evening or weekend viewings.
