The Dress

This 'Lexine' dress is from the Pronivias 2014 collection, a brand known as best in class for their lace gowns. The dress is beautifully crafted with lace applique all over, and is an extremely flattering, elegant piece. A dress I felt truly comfortable in the whole day, and provided a lot of 'wow' compliments from friends and family alike.

The dress has a sheer v-neckline, with beautifully transparent, embroidery detail. It has a fitted bust and waist to the hips and then drops from the hips down to the floor. The back features button detail and a 'chapel length' train, which can be hooked up into the dress for later in the evening.

I had two major alterations fitted to this dress (carried out by Mirror Mirror Bridal Boutique, London)
- A low v-back cut into the dress (see pictures above), including extra 'button' details from the point of the v all the way down the back to below the bum
-'let out' the mermaid style fishnet skirt, to provide a 'hip to floor' straight line drop, as I prefer to ball gown vs. mermaid shape

I am 5'6, UK size 10, 9st 6lbs, bust C and was wearing 3 heels.

The dress would be suitable for someone of the same or small proportions, especially if you wanted to make your own alternations to hem length.

The dress has been cleaned.
