The Dress

The Gambia dress from Pronovias is off white and made up of 4 layers of which 3 are beautiful Spanish lace. When I first tried this dress on I recall saying wow it is so light and comfortable, as I had found most of the dresses I tried on with corsets rather uncomfortable.

As you will see from the original images of dress a few alterations were made. I was getting married in the African bush & wanted to dance without worrying about hooking my dress up, so I had the train of the dress removed to be all one length. I also had the bows removed from the shoulders leaving only the pieces of lace hanging which I am glad I kept.

Size: UK10 but was altered on the sides.
Height: I am 5.6inchs (1.68cm) tall and wore 4 inch heels.
Bust: 32E – I wore a strapless stick on bra which was very comfortable and wore it for 14 hours and had no issues.

The dress has been dry cleaned but they did not manage to get the red soil marks out from the very bottom of the dress if you are about 1inch shorter than me or wearing lower heels then you can easily have the bottom of the dress altered.

Will be sad to see my beautiful dress go but rather someone else gets to enjoy it! Please do contact me for further information & if you would like to try it on.
