The Dress

From Ian Stuart's Revolution Rocks collection, a stunning customised Ian Stuart Coppelia wedding dress in ivory silk dupion and silk gaza. For sale including matching Ian Stuart ivory organza wrap (unused) and hoop, in original dress bag.

The base sweetheart neckline has been tailored to give a straight finish, using Ian Stuart silk. This can easily be removed to show the original sweetheart if preferred.

The neckline has been tailored to flow into the soft draping on the bodice which forms a ripple effect, flowing into the asymmetric rushing on the left hand side hip, into an angelic A line skirt and train. With an integral corset, the dress is flattering, very comfortable and supportive.

The beautiful flower corsages, originally located on the left hip, have been repositioned on the back if the dress, at the base of elegant button detailing. Again, this corsage can easily be relocated or removed as preferred.

Bustle ribbons have been added to the underneath of the dress to allow for dancing / ease of movement during the reception.

The dress cost £2700 new and has been worn for one day. Having been professionally cleaned it is currently stored in its original Ian Stuart dress bag in great condition.

I am 5ft 6.5 and wore the dress with 8.5cm heels. It truly is a beautiful angelic wedding gown from an iconic British designer, and made me feel amazing on my big day.
