The Dress
This is such a beautiful dress. I wore it for my wedding in January 2013 and it was the perfect dress. It fits like a dream and drapes beautifully. The detailing is amazing. I chose it because when I tried it on, I moved differently. I felt elegant and glamorous.
It has since been cleaned and had a couple of small tears repaired. It is now in a dress box and wrapped in acid-free paper
The label says size 10 but it was altered to fit me and is now an 8. My dressmaker also inserted an invisible internal belt which makes it fit much better and is adjustable (and can be removed if not wanted). A further alteration was to add a layer of tulle at the front of the dress as it was too plunging for me. This extra layer meant I could wear a bra with the dress. It can be removed if required.
