The Dress

Radiance is a beautiful slim fitting dress in cream lace over light cappuccino satin with a V-shaped neck line and matching sash. It has beautiful satin buttons down the back plus a wrist hoop and an internal ribbon so that the train can be bustled. There is also a small pale blue bow sewn into the label for something blue. I had the neck line taken in by 1.5 inches so there wasn't quite so much cleavage on show and although it is a designer size 12, it is more like a 10.

I had so many compliments about my dress on our wedding day and it made me feel incredibly womanly but also elegant. I was comfortable in the dress for the whole day and actually preferred to hold the bottom as I walked around as the material draped so beautifully (this also meant that the bottom didn't get very dirty). I wore 3inch heels and nude underwear but as the material is quite thick you could get away with wearing any colour underwear. I decided to wear the bow at the back then added a silk flower to the front of the sash in the evening when I wasn't carrying my bouquet.

The dress has been worn once, it has been professionally dry cleaned and is in immaculate condition. It now hangs in it's case (with white gloves for handling) in a smoke and animal free home.
