This is the story of Delight.
Delight is a sample dress. I know this may sounds scary to many of you. Don’t be scared. It was my mistake to walk into a bridal shop, with a seamstress friend of mine, to try on dresses and see which style, shape would suit me best. My friend would then make my wedding dress.
Of all the dresses I tried on, none of them inspired us. That is until I put on Delight. The “WoW” effect. The one you are looking for. I fell in love.
Originally at £1299, the dress was now at £599. I hesitated. I went out for lunch to think about it. And then, against all odds, I bought it. The problem was: Delight was the dress if I were having a traditional white wedding. I wasn’t. Love isn’t always enough.
I thought of altering it and cutting it knee-length but I did not have the heart to slash through the silk.
Many people tried to convince me to wear it anyway, don’t mind the groom, it is YOUR day. It is MY day, it is OUR day. And I want him to find me gorgeous. I want him to see ME.
Since then, Delight has been for sell and overlooked by many bride- to-be. I would agree that at first glance, Delight may not appear to be a “looker” but she would prove you wrong. She is stunning and would compliment your natural beauty and curves.
Since I bought Delight, it hasn’t been dry cleaned for two reasons: 1. It has not been worn outside the shop; 2. I figured the buyer would want to get it dry cleaned herself.

I have no illusion that I will get my money back, but I ask you to read carefully and be sensible:
If you would like me to get it dry cleaned beforehand, it will cost £99. If you add shipping and boxing, it would be an extra £25. This is why the starting price is £124 + a sensible offer for the dress. If you would rather get it dry cleaned yourself, then I would ask for a sensible offer on top of the £25 P&P.
Ideally £250 but I am open to serious and sensible offers.
